Max Azzarello, the man who lit himself on fire in New York outside of Donald Trump's trial on Friday, worked for Representative Tom Suozzi's (D-NY) campaign in 2013.

The now-deceased Azzarello's LinkedIn page shows that he worked briefly as the Operations Director for Friends of Tom Suozzi from August 2013 to November 2013.

Suozzi told the New York Post for a report, “Max Azzarello worked on my campaign for Nassau County Executive in 2013 as part of the field staff."

"Even though I haven’t seen or talked to Max since then I recall him being very kind, smart, and hardworking. It is tragic that he has succumbed to his injuries, and I am keeping Max and his family in my prayers," the congressman added.

He listed the campaign experience on his page along with another campaign stint as Operations Director working for California Democrat Representative Ami Bera from January 2014 to April 2014.

The native of Long Island died after he self-immolated in front of the courthouse where President Donald Trump is on trial in New York. Prior to lighting himself on fire, Azzarello held up a sign that read, "Trump is with Biden and they're about to fascist coup us."

In the last video post on Azzarello's Instagram, he stated that he was going to help start a "f*cking revolution" leading up to his extreme protest.

“This extreme act of protest is to draw attention to an urgent and important discovery: We are victims of a totalitarian con, and our own government (along with many of their allies) is about to hit us with an apocalyptic fascist world coup,” Azzarello wrote on his Substack page in a conspiracy theory-addled manifesto.

Dean

I guess he got 'fired up' over Trump. Toasty! Be nice if all liberals took the challenge.
