BC top doc says she has no time for people who oppose mandatory masks

Henry's comment comes after an incident in Kelowna, BC, where a woman was arrested while refusing to wear a mask inside a Value Village.

Dr. Bonnie Henry, British Columbia's top health official, said in a press conference on Wednesday that she has no time for people who complain that masks make them sick or limit their freedom, CTV News reports.

BC implemented a mask mandate earlier in November under the threat of a $230 fine. Most provinces had already implemented them in public spaces, but BC, where the pandemic was not very severe during the first wave, held out.
