Biden complains that Trump has 'erased' all the 'gains' made under his administration

"To erase history— rather than make it, to erase fairness, equality, to erase justice itself, and that's not hyperbole, that's a fact."

Former President Joe Biden delivered remarks at the annual gala for the National Bar Association gathering of black lawyers and judges, saying that the Trump administration is working to "ease all the gains we made in my administration. To erase history—rather than make it, to erase fairness, equality, to erase justice itself, and that's not hyperbole, that's a fact."

In his remarks, Biden reverted to shouting and at times appeared confused and like he didn't know where he was supposed to be going or what he was meant to be doing.

Biden's speech, spanning only about 20 minutes, took direct aim at his predecessor and his successor, President Donald Trump. As soon as Biden took office in January 2021, he reversed dozens of Trump's executive orders and issued dozens of his own to countermand what had been done before.

"You can't sugarcoat it, these are dark days," Biden told the Chicago crowd of almost 1,100 black Bar Association members. "We are, in my view, at such a moment in American history, reflected in every cruel executive outreach, every rollback of basic freedoms, every erosion of long-standing, established precedent," Biden said.

Biden said the Trump administration was "cruel" for tightening border security and engaging in mass deportations. These were campaign promises made by Trump that are now being carried out.

He urged the continuation of the progress he started, which was rejected by American voters when he was forced to step down from his own reelection campaign and then when his Vice President Kamala Harris was defeated at the polls.

"There’s been nothing in the course of our country’s history that we haven’t been able to accomplish," he said. "We’re the only nation in the world that has come out of every crisis stronger than when we went in."

Trump still didn't erase millions of illegals that Biden gained. What's Biden taking about.
