According to Gallup records dating to 1945, Biden’s recent quarterly job approval average ranks 277 out of 314 presidential quarters, placing Biden in the bottom 12 percent of all quarters.
Pollsters Gallup has revealed that President Joe Biden’s approval rating has dipped below the last 9 presidents.
The Gallup average of polls found that Biden’s 13th quarter in office, which spanned from January 20 to April 19, saw a record low 38.7 percent average job approval.
Biden’s immediate predecessors, Donald Trump and Barack Obama, saw a 46.8 percent and 45.9 percent average job approval at a similar time in their presidency.
George W Bush had a 51 percent average job approval rate in the 13th quarter, Bill Clinton had a 53 percent approval rating, George H.W. Bush had a 41.8 percent rating, Ronald Reagan had a 54.5 percent rating, Jimmy Carter had a 47.7 percent rating, Richard Nixon had a 53.7 percent approval rating, and Dwight Eisenhower had a 73.2 percent approval rating in the quarter.
Biden’s average job approval rating came from just 3 polls, the lowest of the group of 10 presidents, while Obama’s average rating came from the highest number of polls, at 88.

Biden’s previous quarter saw a 39 percent average job approval rating, while his first two quarters in office averaged over 50 percent.
The most recent Gallup poll, conducted between April 1 and 22, saw a 38 percent job approval rating for Biden, with just 2 percent of Republicans approving and 33 percent of independents.
"With about six months remaining before Election Day, Biden stands in a weaker position than any prior incumbent, and thus faces a taller task than they did in getting reelected," the pollster concluded.
