On Monday, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will meet in the White House Situation Room with the US hostage deal negotiating team following the murder of six hostages, including American citizen Hersh Goldberg-Polin, by Palestinian terrorists.

According to Fox News, the purpose of the meeting which is closed to the media is to discuss a deal to release the remaining hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.

Biden and Harris were slammed after the six dead hostages were recovered from a tunnel underneath the Gazan city of Rafah on Saturday. Biden and Harris both opposed the IDF incursion into Rafah, the last remaining Hamas stronghold in Gaza.

Biden previously said he would consider placing conditions on future military aid to Israel if it moved ahead with a Rafah offensive and called an incursion into the city a "red line." Harris followed suit in an interview with ABC and threatened consequences for the Jewish state if the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) went into Rafah.

The bodies of the hostages were located on Saturday. Autopsy reports showed that they were shot multiple times at close range 48 to 72 hours before the IDF located them. The bodies were found in a tunnel complex approximately 20 meters underground and only one kilometer from where 52-year-old hostage Kaid Farhan al-Alkadi was rescued last week.

Palestinian terrorists may have executed the six hostages knowing that the IDF was nearby, fearing that the hostages would be rescued alive and would divulge details about where the other captives were being held.

The murdered hostages were identified as Eden Yerushalmi (24), Carmel Gat (39) Almog Sarusi (26) Alex Lubnov (32), and Ori Danino (25), and American Hersh Goldberg-Polin (23) whose parents addressed the Democratic National Convention last month in Chicago.

According to the IDF, 101 of the 251 hostages abducted by Palestinian terrorists on October 7 remain captive in Gaza, including the bodies of at least 33 hostages who have been confirmed dead by the IDF.

Hamas has rejected every ceasefire proposal since the terrorist organization released 105 civilians during a weeklong ceasefire in November in exchange for hundreds of terrorists. Despite the terrorist organization's refusals, Biden has attempted to appease the group with boondoggle aid efforts including spending hundreds of millions of dollars on a pier in Gaza to deliver aid, most of which ended up in the hands of Hamas.

Four hostages were previously released and 8 hostages have been rescued alive. Additionally, the bodies of 37 hostages have been recovered by the IDF. Hamas is also holding two Israeli civilians who entered the Gaza Strip in 2014 and 2015 and the bodies of two IDF soldiers who were killed in 2014.

It's far more likely they were killed by the IDF. The tunnels under Gaza are spiderwebs & have proven impenetrable by the IDF. Had the Resistance wished to move the prisoners, they would have. They are far too valuable in negotiations for the Resistance to kill them. Israel has thousands of Palestinian hostages. Had Biden had any actual concern at all about the bombing of civilian tents in Rafah, he would have stopped the flow of American bombs entirely. Had Netanyahu wanted a ceasefire, he would not have assassinated two top Palestinian negotiators. Murdering negotiators is not a means to successful negotiation.
