Texas surgeon who disclosed that his hospital was conducting sex changes on minors, despite the procedures being prohibited in the state has been indicted on felony charges by Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ).

The Justice Department accused Dr. Eithan Haim, 33, of violating HIPAA laws and indicted him on four felony charges, Christopher Rufo at City Journal reports. Dr. Haim completed his residency at the Texas Children's Hospital and vowed to fight Biden's "corrupt" DOJ.

"They wanted to intimidate me into silence using every technique the federal leviathan had at their disposal. But they failed. The only way to lose is to submit to corruption," Haim wrote on X. "It's time to fight back harder than ever!"

In May 2023, Haim disclosed documents to Rufo that showed the Texas Children's Hospital continued operation of its child gender clinics in violation of state law, despite their assertion that it had been closed. Rufo had previously emphasized that the clinic's patients' personal information was not included in any of the documents he obtained from Haim.

In February 2022, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton issued an opinion in which he indicated that gender-affirming care for children could be considered a form of child abuse under state law. Texas Children's Hospital then issued a statement in 2022 announcing that it would cease all treatments and surgeries on children related sex changes.

Later in May 2023, Haim contacted Rufo exposing that a surgeon had implanted a hormone device in an 11-year-old suffering from gender dysphoria.

Dr. Haim was summoned by US marshals to appear in court to answer the allegations during a visit to his residence earlier this week. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 10.
