In an interview with MSNBC President Joe Biden said he regretted using "illegal" to describe the illegal immigrant charged for the murder of Laken Riley in the State of the Union address and did not want to "disrespect" any immigrants in the country.

When asked about the term he used in the interview, Biden responded, “I shouldn't have used 'illegal.' It's undocumented.”

He continued and said he would not label any immigrant in that way. "I'm not going to treat any of these people with disrespect."

On Friday when Biden was asked the question by reporters, he was hesitant to say he regretted using the term, and replied instead, “Technically he's not supposed to be here.”

Jose Ibarra, the illegal immigrant charged in the murder of Laken Riley, was also released after being arrested at the border and released once again in New York after being arrested for endangering a child.

Ibarra was also an “active member” of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang.

The ongoing border crisis has led to many criminal acts committed against Amercian citizens by illegal immigrants since Biden took office.

Earlier in February, an illegal immigrant in Utah was arrested and charged for the rape of an 11-year-old girl in the town of Provo. In another case, a 14-year-old girl was raped at knifepoint in Louisiana by an illegal national from Honduras.
