Florida Governor Ron DeSantis came to Iowa and was mocked by people chanting, "We love Trump," as he was flipping burgers at the Iowa State Fair.

DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, and former President Donald Trump were all present at the fair, hoping to gain support in the key primary state.

In addition to the chants, a plane flew overhead mocking DeSantis, which said, "Be likable, Ron!" as the fair went on.

As the primaries draw closer, DeSantis, in addition to his efforts in Iowa, has been changing things up in his campaign in order to shore up lower poll numbers.

During a short exchange with voters, Trump had a message for the Florida Governor and said he had a "very small crowd" at the fair compared to Trump's.

"[DeSantis] only had a few people show up. It’s a big difference.”

A massive crowd gathered to see the former president. In footage from Iowa, hundreds can be seen around with Trump signs and flags.

Trump took the stage to thunderous applause as supporters gathered around to see him. His supporters yelled that Trump would be elected again to the presidency.

One fair attendee took footage of the action from on top of the ferris wheel showing an overflowing crowd and the former president tossing out hats to supporters.

The Iowa State Fair has been a long-held traditional stopping point for presidential candidates since the 1970s. It is a chance for candidates to make their bid for why they should become nominees for the general election in the key primary state.
