Multiple arrests have been made in connection to the overdose death of beloved Friends' actor Matthew Perry, including two doctors, Perry's assistant, and a drug dealer with the nickname "Ketamine Queen," according to a new report from TMZ.

Law enforcement sources told the outlet that multiple agencies have executed search warrants and have seized phones, laptops, and other devices to determine who supplied Perry with the ketamine that led to his death in October 2023. Perry lost consciousness in his hot tub and drowned at his Pacific Palisades home in Los Angeles. The Drug Enforcement Administration and LAPD have conducted a criminal investigation for months.

Kenneth Iwamasa, Perry's assistant, allegedly administered over 20 shots of ketamine to the actor in the last four days he was alive, and apparently knew that Perry was "spiraling out of control." Jasveen Sangha, the "Ketamine Queen," sold the fatal dose to Perry. When her home was searched, ketamine and other drug paraphernalia was discovered. The syringe was provided to Perry by doctor Salvador Plasencia, who had given ketamine to Perry as well as his assistant in other instances, according to an indictment reviewed by NBC News

Authorities said that the 5 defendants all knew Perry had struggled with addiction in the past, but wanted to make money off of him despite the obvious concern. The actor had been getting ketamine infusion therapy for mental health reasons the last week and a half before his death, according to TMZ. The ketamine that was given to Perry was not a legal prescription for him to be taking. Perry had been public about his addiction issues and had published a memoir detailing those struggles.

Sources that spoke to TMZ said that texts uncovered in warrants showed messages about Perry and the ketamine he wanted. The messages showed how those in the conversation were doing to get the drugs to him. The outlet reported that the police were clearly going after those doctors and dealer who had gotten him the illegal ketamine that led to his death.

Perry died last year on October 28. He was 54 years old at the time. He was 54 years old at the time. The beloved Friends actor was in all 234 episodes of the series with the tight-knit cast. It launched the stardom of the others in the cast Matt LeBlanc, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer. Perry was also in other shows, such as Silver Spoons, Charles in Charge, Growing Pains, Ally McBeal, Beverly Hills 90210, and so many others.
