Twitter owner and CEO Elon Musk said Monday that usage on the social media platform is “at an all-time high.”

The billionaire added, “lol,” and wrote in a follow up tweet, “I just hope the servers don’t melt!”

The Verge previously reported that Twitter’s daily user growth reached “all-time highs” during Musk’s first week of owning the company.

According to the outlet, an internal document that was shared with Twitter’s sales team to use in conversations with advertisers revealed that after Musk’s purchase of the company closed, Twitter’s monetizable daily user growth spiked over 20 percent.

This despite various celebrities announcing they were leaving the platform.

Earlier on Monday, View co-host Whoopi Goldberg became the latest one to announce her departure from Twitter, describing Musk's week-long tenure as "a mess.”
