"No decision has been made on a new primetime line-up and there are multiple scenarios under consideration," Fox News said.
The move comes as Fox News attempts to regain the trust of its viewers in the aftermath of Carlson's abrupt and unceremonious firing in April.
According to the Drudge Report, Hannity, who for years appeared right after Carlson, will reportedly be taking over the coveted 8 pm EST slot. A source familiar with the matter informed the outlet that Fox's new evening crew is being advertised as its "boldest and most fearless line-up ever."
Joining Hannity in moving slots are Jesse Watters, who currently hosts Jesse Watters PrimeTime at 7 pm EST, and Greg Gutfeld, host of the 11 pm EST Gutfeld! talk show.
Nothing has been set in stone, however, and a Fox News spokesperson told Mediaite, "no decision has been made on a new primetime line-up and there are multiple scenarios under consideration."
This is a breaking story and will be updated.
