Michael Madsen, the actor best known for his roles in the hit Quentin Tarantino films Kill Bill and Reservoir Dogs, has died at the age of 67.
Madsen’s representative said that he was found unresponsive in his Malibu home on Thursday morning. The rep said the cause appeared to be a cardiac arrest, per Variety.
In a statement, Madsen’s managers Susan Ferris and Ron Smith, and publicist Liz Rodriguez said, "In the last two years Michael Madsen has been doing some incredible work with independent film including upcoming feature films ‘Resurrection Road’, ‘Concessions’ and ‘Cookbook for Southern Housewives,’ and was really looking forward to this next chapter in his life. Michael was also preparing to release a new book called ‘Tears For My Father: Outlaw Thoughts and Poems’ currently being edited."

In Reservoir Dogs, Madsen played the character Mr. Blonde, who at one point in the film cuts off an officer’s ear while dancing to the song Stuck in the Middle With You." He also starred in other Tarantino films such as The Hateful Eight and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood."
Madsen has been in over 300 films, including Donnie Brasco, Sin City, and Thelma & Louise.
