The crowd of supporters gathered around Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan.
A massive crowd of supporters of Donald Trump gathered by Trump Tower in Manhattan where he held a press conference on his conviction in trial on Thursday. Video from supporters as well as reports of aerial shots showed the huge gathering of support.
During Fox News' coverage of the press conference, aerial shots showed a crowd gathering around Trump Tower in support of the president. Some were seen waving flags and donning Make America Great Again hats.
Other footage posted showed the level of support from the ground level, with many people surrounding the building.
After the verdict was decided, Trump's campaign donations page crashed due to the amount of traffic that went to the website. The Trump campaign also set a donation record with nearly $35 million in small donor donations since the verdict came down.
The street was packed with many showing up after the verdict in the Trump case on Thursday that saw him being found guilty on all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. DA Alvin Bragg as well as Matthew Colangelo have been summoned after the conviction to testify before the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.
During the press conference, while Trump was still under a gag order from the trial, he spoke to reporters and supporter there. “This is a case where if they can do this to me they can do this to anyone," Trump began. "These are bad people. These are in many cases, I believe, sick people."
He later remarked, "We're dealing with a corrupt government. We have a corrupt country. Our elections are corrupt. Our borders are open, our borders are going to be closed very soon. November 5 is going to be the most important day in the history of our country."
