Congressman Matt Gaetz has demanded answers from Delta CEO Ed Bastion on the transportation of non-resident migrants across the US, many of whom use nothing but an arrest warrant for travel.

Gaetz wants to know "How many non-resident aliens has Delta airlines transported on behalf of nongovernmental organizations since January 20, 2021?"

"How do NGOs purchase or reimburse your airlines for tickets of non-resident aliens? Are you now receiving, or have you ever received any incentive for reimbursement, including money, credit, or other benefits from the federal government in exchange for the transport of non-resident aliens?"

"Has the TSA notified you of what forms of identification are acceptable for nonresident aliens to clear airport security and board your flights? If so, what are they?"

The letter to Bastion comes after it was revealed that Delta was transporting illegal immigrants from Phoenix to New York City and other locales on late-night flights. Ashley St. Clair made the reveal on X after she was seated next to non-resident migrants who had come straight from broader processing centers only to be shipped out on red-eye flights across the US.

More than 7 million illegal immigrants have entered the US since Biden took office in 2021. Outcries from lawmakers have done little to assuage the flow of persons across the US-Mexico border, or from being flown in directly to the American interior.

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has called for the impeachment of Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas over his failures at the border. It was Mayorkas who told would-be immigrants around the world in early 2021 "we're not saying don't come, we're saying don't come now."

Mayorkas and Biden have said that Congress needs to fix the immigration problem, but Congress has said that DHS is not following the law. When Texas Governor Greg Abbott put up border buoys in the Rio Grande laced with razor wire, the Biden administration removed them, saying that Abbot did not have the authority to do so. A federal court ruled that Texas could leave the barriers up.

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
