Guthrie was abducted from her home nearly two weeks ago.
Two people were removed from a home in the Catalina Foothills on Friday night in connection to the Nancy Guthrie abduction case. Reporters on the scene said that a man and woman were compelled the leave the home about 1.9 miles from the Guthrie home in Tucson, Ariz.
FBI joined the scene.
A SWAT team from the Pima County Sheriff's office was also at the scene. Fox News reported that a warrant had been served and that one person was detained.
This comes hours after it was revealed that DNA collected from the Guthrie home was able to be identified as belonging neither to Guthrie or those close to her.
Guthrie was abducted from her home nearly two weeks ago and law enforcement has been engaged in an active search for information ever since. Her family, including daughter Savannah Guthrie, have made online pleas to her captors for her release.
The FBI has offered a $100,000 reward for information in the case and messages have been sent to the outlet TMZ demanding Bitcoin in exhange for information.
