A school shooting in Knoxville, Tennessee has left multiple gunshot victims. This includes a police officer according to AP News.
As of writing, the details of this shooting are shaky, however, both the police and the school's leadership have confirmed that the scene has been secured.
The superintendent of Knox County Schools wrote on Twitter that "the school building has been secured and students who were not involved in the incident have been released to their families."

Police are currently advising people to avoid the area.
Knoxville police stated that "multiple agencies are on the scene of a shooting at Austin-East Magnet High School."
"Multiple gunshot victims [have been] reported, including a KPD officer. The investigation remains active at this time. Please avoid the area," they added.
