On Saturday, the US Senate staffer who allegedly filmed a gay sex video in Senate room Hart 216 was fired from his position in Senator Ben Cardin's (D-MD) office.

In a statement to the New York Post, a spokeswoman for Cardin's office said, "Aidan Maese-Czeropski is no longer employed by the U.S. Senate. We will have no further comment on this personnel matter."

An explicit video of Maese-Czeropski was obtained by the Daily Caller, which showed him having anal sex with an unknown man in the Senate hearing room.

In reaction to the leaked video, Maese-Czeropski wrote on LinkedIn, "This has been a difficult time for me, as I have been attacked for who I love to pursue a political agenda. While some of my actions in the past have shown poor judgment, I love my job and would never disrespect my workplace.” He added, "Any attempts to characterize my actions otherwise are fabricated and I will be exploring what legal options are available to me in these matters.”

The video showed two naked men having anal sex with one of the men appearing to be squatting over the ledge of a chair during the act. The video was leaked to the Daily Caller after it was shared with a private group for gay men in politics.

Republican members of Congress used the video to take aim at the Democrat Party and the ideals their staffers hold. Rep. Mike Collins wrote on X, "Cardin staff wildin'. Making porn at work and yelling 'free Palestine' at a Jewish congressman? I have a question: how long would Cardin's filmmaker last in a free Palestine?" in reference to Maese-Czeropski yelling "free Palestine" at a Jewish congressman earlier this week.

"Heck of a week for the Left. Gay porn in the Senate, swearing-in ceremony on child porn in Virginia, tranny tap dancers in the White House, and Satanic statues in Iowa. What else am I missing?" He said of the party as a whole.

Before this incident, Maese-Czeropski worked as a congressional staffer for over two years and attended the University of California Berkeley and Johns Hopkins University, according to his LinkedIn account.

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
