"This directive is a clear violation of free speech," Giuliani said.
Rudy Giuliani’s conservative talk radio show has been pulled off air after the former New York City mayor and former Trump lawyer repeatedly questioned the results of the 2020 presidential election.
John Catsimatidis, the billionaire owner of WABC, abruptly nixed the show and suspended Giuliani from the station over the statements.
"John had warned him a few times about doing that and finally he just kind of crossed the line," producer Matt Wanning told the Daily Mail. He added that Catsimatidis "just dismisses it" and "doesn’t buy into" the claims of election fraud regarding the 2020 election.
When asked about potential legal exposure from Giuliani's claims regarding Dominion Voting Systems, Wanning said: 'Oh yeah. It's been floating around for a while.'
Giuliani told the outlet, "I’m learning from a leak to the New York Times that I'm being fired by John Catsimatidis and WABC because I refused to comply with their overly broad directive stating, word-for-word, that I'm, 'prohibited from engaging in conversations relating to the 2020 Presidential Election.'"
"This directive is a clear violation of free speech and I’ll have much more to say about this on my 8:00 pm ET livestream which you can watch on any of my social media platforms, including on X, Facebook or YouTube."
Catsimatidis told the New York Times, "We’re not going to talk about fallacies of the November 2020 election. We warned him once. We warned him twice. And I get a text from him last night, and I get a text from him this morning that he refuses not to talk about it."
"So," he added, "he left me no option. I suspended him."
Catsimatidis said that Giuliani had attempted to speak on the topic during the closing minutes of his Thursday show but was cut off by station employees.
"Look, I like the guy as a person, but you can’t do that. You can’t cross the line," he said. "My view is that nobody really knows but we had made a company policy. It’s over, life goes on."

Let's see: 6,000 double-counted votes in Fulton County, GA for the 2020 election. That was, unfortunately, one of many instaces. Nothing to see here folks. Remove from the media anyone who dares question the 2020 election.
