BREAKING: Tim Walz says 'I've become friends with school shooters' in WEIRD debate moment

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz said on the debate stage that he has "become friends with school shooters" when the topic of gun violence came up. The weird moment in the debate took many by surprise. 

When Walz was asked about why he now supports an "assault weapons" ban when he was previously opposed to one, he responded, "I sat in that office with the Sandy Hook parents, I've become friends with school shooters."

"Look, the NRA. I was the NRA guy for a long time. They used to teach gun safety. I'm of an age where my shotgun was in my car so I could go pheasant hunting after football practice."

Vance answered the moderators' questions about gun safety, saying, "I unfortunately think that we have to increase security in our schools. We have to make the doors lock better. We have to make the doors stronger. We've got to make the windows stronger. And of course, we've got to increase school resource officers."

Walz's response received a large reaction after the comment on the debate stage. 

Donald Trump reacted to the claim, "Did Tampon Tim just say he has “become friends with school shooters?” He isn’t even qualified to be Governor, let alone Vice President. Walz and Kamala DO NOT HAVE WHAT IT TAKES!"

The GOP nominee also posted a "campaign sign" that read, "Trump Vance '24" that added, "Not friends with school shooters."
