On Wednesday's live episode of Timcast IRL, the in-studio crew was forced to evacuate due to what was referred to as a "potentially credible threat."
At around 9:30pm EST, as Ian Crossland was speaking, Pool suddenly announced that they were being instructed to evacuate the building.
The intense scene can be viewed below:
Tim Pool tweeted shortly after:
"Potentially credible threat
Police on site
Specialists en route
Keeping details to a minimum for security reasons"
"WE ARE ALIVE! Just chilling with the cops," Pool added on the YouTube live stream which is still up. broadcasting an empty studio at the time of publication.
The Post Millennial was able to reach producer Lydia Leiterman, who told us: "We are just chaperoning crawfish across the road while we wait."
At approximately 11:40pm EST, officers could be seen on the show's livestream searching the studio, but left minutes later.
Pool, his team and guests re-entered the studio at 12:15am EST. Pool quipped, "I’m so tired, how you guys doing?"
He then said to his guest Tommy Altman, "Tommy, we owe you another show."
Pool explained that they had "a credible threat" and explained that they could not document details of the incident because "When the bomb robot came out, they told us no filming was allowed."
He added, "Every single threat results in a police response…when you get 'swatted' the cops show up in full force."
Pool and his show have been the target of numerous "swatting" attempts over the past year.
The host was vague on specifics, did mention that he had upgraded his security due to previous threats. He also mentioned that "Since January, there have been 8 other 'swattings' and one other incident of the bomb squad coming out."
This is a breaking story and will be updated.
