Turning Point USA's high school club chapters, known as Club America, has surged by over 100 percent.
The announcement was made on Kirk's show, where it was being hosted by Andrew Kolvet, a close friend of Charlie and spokesman for TPUSA, where the Enterprise Director for Club America, Nick Cocca, said, "There are two types of high schools in this country: high schools that have Club America chapters and high schools that will soon have Club America chapters."
He then added since Kirk's passing there have been 1,500 Club America chapters formed, more than the 1,200 that were already formed. In addition to the massive increase in chapters at high schools, there has been a massive surge in inquires to start chapters both on college campuses and at high schools. As of late September, there had been 120,000 total inquiries.
Kolvet said of the increase in Club America chapters, "The high school team has just informed me that we've already STARTED over 1,500 new Club America chapters across the country. For context, we had around 1,200 before this, more than doubling our chapter total. We won't stop until every HS has a Club America chapter."
In the segment with Cocca, Kolvet emphasized that when Charlie was alive, he had the goal of wanting to place a chapter of Club America at every school around the nation. Kirk was assassinated at Utah Valley University while he was speaking and debating with college students, something he was widely known for.
