In response to the latest poll, Trump wrote, "go home to Florida, Ron, and work on insurance costs, the highest in the nation!"
A new poll has found that Trump has soared to a 47-point lead over his neared competitor as the GOP frontrunner faces yet another indictment.
The poll, conducted by RMG Research Inc. and shared with the Daily Signal, found that 60 percent of Republican primary voters supported Trump, with entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy coming in second place at 13 percent.
DeSantis, who has been slipping in the polls in recent weeks, came in third place at 8 percent, dropping 7 points since a survey undertaken by RMG Research on August 7 and 8.
The poll was conducted between August 11 and 14, with the news of Trump’s latest indictment out of Georgia coming in late on the 14th, and has a margin of error of 3.1 percent.
In response to the latest poll, Trump wrote on Truth Social, "go home to Florida, Ron, and work on insurance costs, the highest in the nation."
