"Tucker, help us with these mother f*ckers!"
The deal would give the socialist prime minister the power he was unable to establish during a July election.
Carlson was mobbed in the streets, with one woman calling out "Tucker, help us with these motherf*ckers!"
He spoke to fans in the streets amid the protests.
"In Madrid," he said simply on X, posing with Vox Party leader Santiago Abascal.
He was asked by a reporter how the world sees Spain, and he said "Anybody who would violate your constitution, potentially use physical violence to end democracy, is a tyrant, is a dictator ... We thought it deserved more coverage than it's getting."
Since the socialist prime minister Pedro Sanchez made the deal last week, protesters have been angered by what is essentially a coup for Sanchez to retain power. He promised amnesty to criminals and communists in exchange for their support of his rule.
Protesters said that this evidenced Sanchez putting his ambition for power ahead of the good of the nation.
Jack Posobiec addressed the Spanish protests and government coup on Human Events Daily, hosting Rocio Meer of the Vox Party. She told him that "Christian civilization is at stake in this moment."
The conservative factions of the Vox Party and the People's Party have been vocal in recent days. "We will not shut up until there are new elections!" Alberto Nunez told crowds in Madrid.
Since leaving Fox News, Carlson has launched his independent show on X.
This is a breaking story and will be updated.
