MINDS revealed on Monday that former Hawaii Democrat Rep. Tulsi Gabbard will be a featured guest for their New York event at the end of June.

Gabbard has been an outspoken critic of the Democrat party, despite having run for that party's nomination for president in 2020.

The event is scheduled for June 25 at the Beacon Theatre in Manhattan. Tickets for the event are available on Ticketmaster, while virtual tickets for the livestream are available via LiveOne.

Other guests on the slate include: Blaire White, Maajid Nawaz, Chrissie Mayr, Seth Dillon, Libby Emmons, Destiny, James O’ Keefe, and many more that will be featured throughout the program.

The point of the conference is for political thought leaders with opposing viewpoints to discuss controversial topics in an open forum.

"The goal of the event is to create a space to engage honestly with others in open dialogue surrounding divisive ideas in hopes to bridge the current divide and create a path to a healthier discourse and reduce extremism," MINDS said.

Even following her formal departure from office, Tulsi Gabbard has been an outspoken political firebrand at odds with the mainstream establishment on numerous issues.

Utah Senator Mitt Romney once labeled Gabbard as a "treasonous liar," her interview with Laura Ingraham of Fox News was age-gated by Google’s YouTube, and the former congresswoman publicly criticized the nomination and confirmation hearings process for Biden’s SCOTUS pick, Ketanji Brown Jackson.
