Antifa militants attacked protesters again Saturday outside the Los Angeles spa where an outraged customer complained that a transgender individual's male genitals were exposed to women and young girls in the female section.
A mix of religious protesters and feminist activists arrived Saturday at the Wi Spa demonstration in Koreatown, calling for the protection of women-only spaces.
Antifa counter protesters then mobilized for another weekend of violence against the demonstrators and authorities responding to the scene. A man was harassed with an umbrella wielded by the black-clad bloc. Umbrellas are common riot tools used by Antifa to shield criminal activity and obscure identity from the police.
The victim sought safety behind the line of police, to which the Antifa instigators mocked: "Oh he's hiding behind the pigs! I thought you was a man, motherf—er!"
"Get the f— out of here! You're about to get your ass whooped!" another jeered.
Moments before, the same man was shoved while he tried to record Antifa's actions. "Why don't you f—ing throw a punch then, p*ssy?" the Antifa agitators egged him on. "I don't want to throw a punch. I want this to stop," the man replied.
"You're supposed to be all this one man, one woman sh*t, but you're a f—ing man and can't throw a punch," the Antifa radicals derided the man as he was prompted by police to step away. "Damn you're lucky there's some f—ing pigs around!"
In a similar way, an Antifa activist shoved a skateboard in someone's face while an Antifa ally claimed that trans women have the right to be in biological women's private spaces. "Genitalia does not mean anything about gender," the female Antifa activist berated the accosted man who said biological women should feel safe from unsolicited exposure of male genitalia. He then responded: "I'd like to go about my way please. You're impeding my path."
The same Antifa activist became irate when she was compared to a religious fundamentalist. "I don't have to be peaceful!" she replied. "I don't owe anybody peace!" She claimed that "white supremacists" issued "pre-meditated threats."
An angry woman upset about the alleged penis incident approached the Antifa agitators who then sprayed the female protester and hurled objects at her.
"We don't want our kids looking at other people's genitalia!" she voiced. Nearby officers intervened and escorted the woman away by the arm.
Antifa also targeted videographer Tomas Morales and called the visual journalist "racist," asking him how the "white boy summer" is going. "Go hide behind your blue line, you f—ing p*ssy! Go ahead!" one of the Antifa members taunted.
Antifa stalked a live streamer who said: "You're disrespecting me. You're trying to intimidate me. You're following me. You're trying to stay in my blind spot."
The live streamer questioned the Antifa agitator if he believes American citizens should have the freedom to act however they want. "Not you," the Antifa activist answered. "So you're a fascist. You think that only you should have freedom," the live streamer told the purported anti-fascist. "You're acting totalitarian."
The Antifa extremists recited a poem by black revolutionary Assata Shakur, a domestic terrorist, convicted murderer, and wanted fugitive who fled to Cuba: "It is our duty to fight for our freedom. It is our duty to win. We must love each other and support each other. We have nothing to lose but our chains."
Los Angeles Police Department officers arrived at the controversial site to separate the opposing groups and quell the escalating unrest.
An emergency public safety alert was issued as the police department declared the riotous event an unlawful assembly outside the Wi Spa.
The violent Antifa mob swarmed and confronted local police. "All Cops Are Bastards!" the crowd chanted at law enforcement present. "F— 12!" others shouted, another anti-police slogan. "You have the power to kill black and brown people," a woman, accosting the cops, yelled from the front of the Antifa group.
An individual on the Antifa side was hit with an impact less-lethal round of munition at point blank range by a police officer.
Antifa's forces and law enforcement continued to clash throughout the day.
Authorities beat back Antifa's large numbers after the unruly leftist mob hurled projectiles at the law enforcement officers. A smoke device was thrown at one point towards police by the Antifa activists.
Police were able to disperse the Antifa militants using impact munitions, tailing the far-left extremists who ran rampant through the busy streets.
One of the Antifa "street medics" was arrested during the duel protests. "Why are you arresting a medic? She didn't do anything!" Her comrades demanded an explanation from police. The crowd erupted into chants: "Let her go!"
An LAPD officer said that he didn't witness any of the documented assaults except for the push, but the department would move to detain individuals with weapons.
The cop noted that LAPD was prioritizing safety and the establishment of peace in the area. "So those minor assaults we will take a report for, but we are not going to make an arrest unless it's violent in nature," the officer said in an interview.
"Right now we're trying to diffuse the situation and make peace and allow your side and the other side to exercise their First Amendment rights," the cop said to the camera. "We're asking for cooperation."
LAPD kettled the Antifa rioters several blocks away from the Wi Spa. Kettling is a police tactic for controlling crowds, which involves the formation of large cordons of police officers who then move to contain rioters within a limited area.
More arrests were made soon after.
Antifa's counter protest was planned after the previous Antifa event at Wi Spa where women, Evangelical street preachers, and people of color were assaulted.
The South West chapter of the Youth Liberation Front (SW YLF) had announced another round of direct "Anti-Transphobia" action Saturday. "Round two mother f—kers," the Antifa account tweeted to rally comrades to "Smash Fascism."
One of the Antifa organizers warned protesters that the far-left members will "crush" demonstrators. "F— off or get prepped to get your sh*t rocked."
At the prior Antifa event on July 3, a young man was tackled to the ground and beaten by Antifa assailants, a woman was sliced with a knife, and a religious protester was smashed over the head with a skateboard and left bloodied.
A masked Latino couple was pushed and prodded along the sidewalks. Newsmax correspondent James Klug was one of the multiple journalists filming the event who was attacked. Klug said he was struck with a club.
The early July direct action, framed as an intersectional Pride rally, was also promoted by Antifa accounts on Twitter. "Please consider joining us as we stand against rampant transphobia in Los Angeles," tweeted SoCal Antifa, a self-described group of Antifa activists spread throughout Southern California. "It's time to stand up up for our trans siblings," the SoCal Antifa ad read. "No bigotry in L.A." The graphic urged, "Everyone has a right to self care!"
"Our trans siblings need us now more than ever to stand up for their right to safe spaces," the SoCal Antifa advertisement concluded, claiming that "transphobic conservatives are planning to protest against Wi Spa for simply serving transgender folks without discrimination."
The Koreatown health club became the center of controversy after a female customer complained to spa staff about a trans woman with male genitals being permitted to disrobe in the spa's women section. The viral confrontation fueled online discourse with threats of a boycott against the spa. Antifa groups have painted the incident as a matter of trans rights—opposed to the rights of "cisgender" females to not be exposed to male anatomy in women's spaces.
It has since been revealed that a woman brought her six-year-old daughter to WiSpa more than one year ago only to have her child exposed to a naked biological male in the women's-only hot tub. She recounted the jarring experience in a YouTube video and in an exclusive interview with The Post Millennial.
