Two Toronto men have just created a new business that sells men's one shoulder bathing suits which they're calling Brokinis, according to BlogTO.

Taylor Field and Chad Sasko set out on the business venture organically after attending parties where they would wear unconventional bathing suits.

During an interview, Sasko explained how the two came up with the idea.

"We started going to bachelor parties and wearing crazy bathing suits and then we actually saw a wrestling leotard online and thought, 'Hey, that could maybe be a bathing suit,'" he said.

"They were pretty awesome but they were actually see-through. We wanted to make something you could actually swim in so we started reaching out to manufacturers and found one."

Their business is beginning to gain attention though it was started only a week ago. They plan to have Brokinis in stores soon.

"We're going to start reaching out to retail stores. We're working on photos and videos and then we're going to start some paid ads and then move on to retail as well," noted Sasko.

"We wanted to come up with a bathing suit that's fun for goofing around on the beach, cottage weekends, bachelor parties and festivals," he added.

"It's not the ideal summer to be launching given COVID, but Brokinis might be a great way to keep people six feet away from you."

On the company website, the founders write: "We hope to one day grow Brokinis enough to cover our MASSIVE cryptocurrency losses and hire a golden retriever as a receptionist, but we have no idea how to run a business so that seems pretty unlikely at this point. We like dogs and strawberry daiquiris and the Toronto Maple Leafs."
