Footage has been released of the moment California cops killed an unarmed kidnapping victim in 2022 as she ran to them for help.

Savannah Graziano, 15, was shot while making her way over to officers after exiting the vehicle driven by her father, who had allegedly abducted her after killing her mother.

Video of the September 27 incident obtained by reporters under the California Public Records Act shows the teen getting out of the car on the side of a road in Hesperia following a 70-mile chase with police before being shot dead.

"Passenger, get out! Passenger, get out!" a deputy with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department can be heard shouting in audio from one of their belt recorders. "Come here! Come to me!"

"Come, come, come, come, walk, walk, walk, walk!" he continues as she makes her way over to the police cruiser wearing, according to reports, wearing tactical gear and a helmet. As she gets within a few meters, shots ring out.

"Hey, stop! Stop shooting her!" the deputy tells his colleagues, informing them that their target, Savannah's father, is still in the vehicle.

The alleged kidnapper and murderer was eventually shot as well, and while his daughter died after being rushed to a local hospital, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to ABC7, an Amber Alert was issued for Graziano the day before her death following reports that her tather had abducted her after murdering his wife, her mother.

The following day, the CBSCD claimed that the 15-year-old had been "a participant in shooting at our deputies," however a new statement issued in light of the footage now claims that while bullets were fired from the passenger side, it is unclear who was shooting.

When Savannah exited the vehicle she was not reported to have been carrying a weapon.
