There has been a collision on Highway 400 North just outside of Vaughan, Ontario. Multiple cars were caught up in the crash.
Dash cam footage shows a silver car swerving in and out of traffic; eventually side swiping two others while attempting to overtake them. The full extent of the damage remains unclear.
The video shows the driver going extremely quickly. The other cars that happened to get caught up in this accident were clearly damaged.
Sources say the man driving the silver Mazda ran off with a black duffel bag. It is unclear whether police later found the man.
One of the victims was the daughter of Linda Jackson, who serves on both the City of Vaughan and York Region Council. Jackson's daughter was reportedly shaken up but unharmed.
