The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) urged the United States to quit smearing and suppressing Chinese enterprises and said America is "shameful and dirty."

During a Thursday press conference, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying said it’s time for the United States to treat Chinese companies in a fair, just, and non-discriminatory manner, China.org reported.

These comments came after Hua was asked about the United States banning US companies from using telecommunication equipment made by China due to high threats to the United States national security.

According to Hua, the United States is using "national security" as an excuse to bully high-tech companies that are owned by China.

The Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that the US had yet to provide any evidence that Chinese tech companies are a threat to their national security and they must stop slandering Huawei and other telecommunication companies.

Hua went on to state that the United States is hypocritical considering they have been involved in multiple eavesdropping scandals.

"The United States doesn't even spare its allies, an act that demonstrates that the United States is the real hacker and eavesdropping empire," said Hua. She then called the US "shameful and dirty."

According to Hua, the United States refusal to trust Chinese tech companies denies market economy principles and free trade. She urged the United States to immediately stop slandering China and suppressing Chinese companies.

These comments from the CCP come as an estimated one million Uighur Muslims are being tortured in Xinjiang internment camps.
