Chris Cuomo, weeknight news anchor at CNN, has been repeatedly seen walking into and out of his apartment building without a face covering.

Apartment management have confronted him about his behavior, going explicitly against New York executive order 202.14, which was put in place by older brother Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Tucker Carlson called Cuomo out directly, saying "The one thing you are likely to know about Chris Cuomo is that Chris Cuomo really believes in masks, really believes with sincere, religious intensity." Then he launches into the evidence of Cuomo's hypocrisy with regard to those masks.

In a letter dated August 6 and obtained by Fox News, Cuomo was asked to change his conduct of non-mask-wearing.

"You have been observed entering and exiting the building and riding the elevator without the required face coverings," said the letter.

"Even though staff members have asked you to comply with this requirement, you have refused to do so. This is a violation of the Executive Order, building policy, and places other residents and our staff at risk. There are no exceptions to this rule, and you are required to comply."

The apartment management threatened to fine CNN’s Cuomo $500.

According to the New York Codes Rules and Regulations Section 66-3.2 section A, "Any person who is over age two and able to medically tolerate a face-covering shall be required to cover their nose and mouth with a mask or face-covering when in a public place and unable to maintain, or when not maintaining, social distance."

Cuomo, who is over the age of two, meets those qualifications.

From the outset of the Pandemic, Cuomo has been a proponent of masks, citing a concern for public health and a regard for potential victims around him. He has repeatedly called out President Trump and the White House on a number of occasions for failing to wear masks.

After having contracted the virus himself earlier in the pandemic, Cuomo re-emphasized the importance of mask wearing. Shortly after President Donald Trump contracted COVID-19, Cuomo asked the president if he was ashamed for spreading the virus to those closest to him.

"I got my wife and son sick just like he did. But with me, it crushed me, Cuomo said. "It left me ashamed and super sensitive to keeping people safe."

The New York Post reportedly reached out to Cuomo for a comment, but he has not responded.
