Residents of Broomfield, CO were treated to falling debris from a United Airlines flight on Saturday afternoon, which fell across several neighborhoods.
CNN reports that a commercial United Airlines flight encountered engine trouble on its way to Honolulu from Denver International Airport and had to turn around due to the issue.
Police in Broomfield stated on Twitter that they received reports of dropped debris in several neighborhoods at around 1:08pm local time. No injuries were reported.


“Some of the debris landed in Commons Park and in the Northmoor and Red Leaf neighborhoods. Our patrol officers are working to locate all of the debris,” police stated on Twitter.

Local residents reported hearing an explosion just prior to the falling debris. Residents shared images of the damage on social media.
