The Star Wars Twitter account, managed by Disney, tweeted on Saturday that they "do not stand for bullying", but Disney has yet to show any support for Gina Carano.

"Our Star Wars community is one of hope and inclusivity. We do not stand for bullying and racism. We support @KrystinaArielle."

According to CBR, Arielle was the target of online harassment on Friday after she was announced as the host of "The High Republic Show", a long-expected and upcoming web series that's part of the Star Wars umbrella.

People were upset at tweets like the one below, which is reproduced with an image, because it appears to have been deleted:

Critics, however, are calling hypocrisy on the Star Wars franchise for backing Arielle, but never making a mention of actress and mixed martial artist Gina Carano, who plays tough-girl Clara Dune in "The Mandalorian".

The very first reply to the Star Wars people's tweet is, in fact, this:

"I never heard of Krystina... but I’m confused where your tweet of support for @ginacarano was? She’s been endlessly bullied for things she’s never even said. Stop picking favorites and be truly inclusive by supporting ALL your talent equally no matter who they vote for"

Carano first came under fire from online haters in a very similar fashion to Arielle back in September of 2020. People were harassing her for not having her pronouns on social media, which is how it started, but it quickly escalated from there.

Indeed, in the same thread, one only needs to scroll down to see calls to "fire Gina Carano."

"How about you do something about Gina Carano now," tweets this user. It's worth noting at this point that Carano has not harassed anybody.

Carano's critics appear to be upset about her personal viewpoints and political opinions, as much as Arielle's critics are about hers.

"then why is Gina Carano still employed," writes another user.

Carano is also apparently doing a great job in her role, and is well-loved by her fellow cast members on "The Mandalorian":

"@TheCarlWeathers hello sir! What was your favorite scene to shoot in Chapter 12?"

"The scene where @ginacarano retrieved the stolen items and fed the little ferret."

"Aw @ginacarano your words are so appreciated. You know I think you’re the bomb! Can’t wait ‘til we make magic again. Stay safe beautiful lady."

A brief review of Weathers's Twitter account shows him to be a staunch Democrat and a Biden/Harris supporter, and the two actors apparently get along very well, despite their differing political beliefs.

Fellow cast member of "The Mandalorian" Ming-Na Wen is also a fan of Carano's according to her recent tweet:

"I love love love you, girlfriend!!!"

Thank you for geeking out with me! I’m so happy @themandalorian not only got me into @starwars, but also bringing you into my life."
