In 2022, Elon Musk's 18-year-old child, Xavier, legally changed his gender and name to Ms. Vivian Jenna Wilson. The move was made in an attempt to make distance from billionaire father Musk, whom Wilson had begun to see as evil because of his massive fortune.
An excerpt from an upcoming biography of Musk written by Walter Isaacson has revealed that the SpaceX and Tesla CEO blamed the decision on the "woke mind virus" Wilson had been infected with while enrolled at a progressive school in Los Angeles.
According to Isaacson, Wilson, at the age of 16, texted the wife of Musk's brother, "Hey, I'm transgender, and my name is now Jenna. Don't tell my dad."
When Musk became aware of Wilson's desire to transition, he was "generally sanguine," however before long Wilson became a "fervent Marxist" cut all ties with him.
"She went beyond socialism to being a full communist and thinking that anyone rich is evil," Musk told Isaacson, adding that the pain he felt at the time was worse than when his firstborn child died in infancy decades earlier. "I've made many overtures," he said, "but she doesn’t want to spend time with me."
Musk blamed Wilson's actions on the ideology that was fed while attending Crossroads, a far-left school in Los Angeles' ritzy Santa Monica neighborhood with an annual tuition of nearly $50,000.
Two years later, Wilson filed the relevant paperwork to make the change official, writing, "I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form."
Wilson's mother said she was "very proud" of her child's decision.
According to the biography, the experience set off a desire in Musk to innoculate the population against the woke mind virus, which he eventually saw had spread to nearly all parts of society, including academia, entertainment, and social media.
Just six months after Xavier legally became Jenna, Musk purchased X, the platform previously known as Twitter, and set to work releasing the platform of the far-left shackles placed upon it by the previous owners.
