Elon Musk, who on Friday became the world’s first trillionaire, is reportedly set to attend UFC Freedom 250 at the White House on Sunday. Sources familiar with the situation told TMZ Sports that Musk plans to attend the event.

UFC Freedom 250 will take place on the South Lawn of the White House on Sunday evening, with a fight card that includes the heavyweight interim title fight between Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane, and the lightweight title fight between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje.

In the lead-up to fight night, the Public Integrity Project filed a lawsuit seeking to stop the event from taking place, claiming that approval of the event violates the National Park Service regulations that prohibit sporting events on federal parklands. The lawsuit, filed on behalf of two Virginia residents—Susan Douglas and Paul Romano—claimed they are suffering "aesthetic" and "procedural harms" in relation to the event.

The lawsuit claimed the UFC fight is "deeply corrupt" and that Trump is giving his friend Dana White "unfettered access to the White House and Lincoln Memorial to stage a private, for-profit sports event, with all the promotional and branding opportunities that accompany such access."

Not far from where the event is taking place, the National Mall has also been hit with an act of vandalism, with the phrase "86 47" being marked into the grass, a phrase that has been used to refer to assassinating President Donald Trump. 86 is slang for taking out or eliminating something, while Trump is the 47th president.

UFC President Dana White told TMZ Sports on Thursday that Sunday night’s event would go on no matter what, referring to hopes weather remains good. "Nothing’s gonna stop this. It could snow, anything could happen." He laughed and agreed when a reporter jokingly asked if the event would still go on even if a bee infestation took place. In April, First Lady Melania Trump announced the installation of a new beehive on the South Lawn.
