On Sunday, Dr. Anthony Fauci once again came out with another warning regarding the novel coronavirus: kids should wear masks when playing with each other.

Fauci was on CBS live when he was asked about children playing together in groups, and responded, "When the children go out into the community, you want them to continue to wear masks when they’re interacting with groups or multiple households."
According to the New York Post, children, since they are still not getting vaccinated yet, have to be careful not to infect each other, as they are still very much capable of being non-symptomatic carriers of the virus.
On a positive note, Fauci commented that he expects things to improve by the time the summer months come around, since, in most of the US, the vaccination programs are moving quickly now:
"We now have 3 to 3.5 million vaccinations each day. If we keep up with that pace, invariably, that’s going to drive the rate and the level of infections per day to a much much lower level," said Fauci, adding that he is hopeful that there will be "a good degree of flexibility during the summer."
