A fetus was found on a Little Italy sidewalk early on Thursday morning, according to Ottawa Police.

A fetus was found on a Little Italy sidewalk early on Thursday morning, according to Ottawa Police.

According to CTV, the fetus was discovered “outside a barbershop on Preston Street near Somerset.”

Nearby residents say they heard sirens around 4 am.

Police are calling it a “suspicious incident,” and are searching for witnesses.

Emergency vehicles remained on scene until late Thursday morning.
