"I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings," Biden said while on the campaign trail.
"How many times have you ever spoken to your son about his overseas business dealings?" Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked in Des Moines, Iowa.
"I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings," Biden said.
"Here’s what I know, I know Trump deserves to be investigated," he said, later adding, "You should be looking at Trump."
The Biden White House echoed the same claim in April 2022.In Oct. 2020, a former Hunter Biden business partner named Tony Bobulinski said that the notion that Joe and Hunter never discussed international business dealings was a lie. Bobulinski claimed he was introduced to Joe Biden in May of 2017, during which the pair discussed the history of the Biden family as well as their plans with the Chinese, which Bobulinski claims Joe was “plainly familiar” with at a “high level.”
Now, testimony from Archer is adding more to the mountain of evidence that contradicts Joe Biden’s claims of never having exchanged words with his son about his international financial activities.
Archer testified that Hunter would bring his father into business meetings on over 20 occasions through speakerphone while serving as vice president.
Biden was also seen in 2018 bragging about how he intimidated Ukranian leaders by threatening to pull American aid for the nation unless they get rid of a prosecutor who was looking into Hunter’s conduct surrounding Burisma.
Ironically, in the video, Biden had told Doocy that “Trump deserves to be investigated” and that Doocy should ask, “Why is [Trump] on the phone with a foreign leader?”
Biden added, “Trying to intimidate a foreign leader… you should be looking at Trump. Trump's doing this because he knows I'll beat him like a drum.”
While former President Trump has been impeached over his alleged coercion of the president of Ukraine, Biden has faced no such charges.
