George Soros proposes plan to cool the earth with man-made clouds over the arctic

Left-wing powerbroker and globalist billionaire George Soros said on Thursday at the Munich Security Conference that geoengineering, man-made attempts to control the climate, should be used to fix the "inexorable advance of climate change." 

Fox News reports Soros said, "Our civilization is in danger of collapsing because of the inexorable advance of climate change. The melting of the Greenland ice sheet would increase the level of the oceans by seven meters. That poses a threat to the survival of our civilization."

Soros has donated millions of dollars through his Open Society Foundations to left-wing climate groups. 

Soros continued, "I wasn’t willing to accept that fate, so I tried to find out whether anything could be done to avoid it. I was directed to Sir David King, a climate scientist who had been chief scientific advisor to previous British governments."

King proposed refreezing the Arctic and founded the Centre for Climate Repair at Cambridge University in 2019 for that purpose. King, previously a special envoy on climate change and chief scientific adviser for the UK, has claimed man-made clouds could reflect sunlight away from the Poles and the Himalayas.

Albedo is the ratio of light reflected by the earth to that received by it. According to the Dictionary of Scientific literacy ice and snow better reflect light than soil, bare rock. If the Albedo ratio were disrupted by a slight increase it could radically drop the earth's temperature.

Soros went on to say that "The Arctic Circle used to be sealed off from the rest of the world by winds that blew in a predictable, circular, counter-clockwise direction, but man-made climate change broke this isolation."

"Sir David King has a plan to repair the climate system. He wants to recreate the albedo effect by creating white clouds high above the earth," Soros said. "With proper scientific safeguards and in consultation with local indigenous communities, this project could help restabilize the Arctic climate system which governs the entire global climate system."

As The Post Millennial has reported, Bill Gates has proposed similar geoengineering methods.

According to Fox News, dozens of scientists have warned against the technology and wrote an open letter last year that said, "The risks of solar geoengineering are poorly understood and can never be fully known. Impacts will vary across regions, and there are uncertainties about the effects on weather patterns, agriculture, and the provision of basic needs of food and water."
