The Kamala Harris “Fight Fund” is using the contentious Oval Office meeting between President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and Vice President JD Vance as a fundraising opportunity, claiming the meeting was a “disgrace” and harmful to the United States.

"What happened yesterday was not good for Ukraine, it was not good for our allies in Europe, and it was not good for America," the group said in a fundraising message following the meeting, according to reporting from the Daily Wire’s Mary Margaret Olohan.

The message claimed that the Oval Office meeting with demonstrative of what “Kamala Harris warned us about during her debate with Donald Trump,” which was, “How quickly Trump – after everything the American people have done and sacrificed to preserve Ukraine’s ability to fight for independence – would give in for the sake of favor and what he thinks is a friendship with Vladimir Putin.”

The message further argued that Republican support for Trump’s handling of the meeting demonstrated the need for a Democratic-controlled Congress, calling on donors to contribute to the Democratic National Committee’s efforts to retake the majority.

Zelensky’s visit to the White House on Friday resulted in a tense exchange with Trump as well as Vance. The Ukrainian leader expressed frustration over US support, claiming his country was “alone” in the war. Trump pushed back, telling Zelensky to be “more grateful” for American assistance.

"Your country is in big trouble. You’re not winning ... You have a damn good chance of coming out okay because of us,” Trump told him. “I gave you the Javelins to take out all those tanks. Obama gave you sheets. You got to be more thankful because let me tell you, you don’t have the cards. With us, you have the cards, but without us you don’t have any cards.”

Vice President Vance also confronted Zelensky, asking, “Do you think that it’s respectful to come to the Oval Office of the United States of America and attack the administration that is trying to prevent the destruction of your country?"

Following the heated exchange, a planned joint press conference between Trump and Zelensky was abruptly canceled.

After the meeting, Trump issued a statement declaring that the discussion had revealed Zelensky was “not ready for peace.”

"We had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today. Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure,” Trump said. “ It’s amazing what comes out through emotion, and I have determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for Peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations. I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE. He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for Peace."
