The New York Governor is in enough hot water that even Hillary Clinton feels safe enough to jump on the bandwagon.
"I’m glad to see that there will be a full, independent, and thorough investigation."
"These stories are difficult to read, and the allegations brought forth raise serious questions that the women who have come forward and all New Yorkers deserve answers to," Hillary said according to Fox News.
The Governor has his plate full:
- New York assembly member Ron Kim came out to reveal that Cuomo threatened to personally destroy Kim's career over Cuomo's CO-VID nursing home controversy.
- Former aide Lindsey Boylan accused Cuomo of an unsolicited kiss at the Governor's Manhattan office.
- 25-year-old Charlotte Bennett came forward about how Cuomo sexually harassed her in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic. “I understood that the governor wanted to sleep with me, and felt horribly uncomfortable and scared,” Bennett told the New York Times.
- These incidents caused local commentators to uncover when Cuomo urged NewsChannel 9’s Beth Cefalu to eat an entire Gianelli sausage sandwich in front of him.
In light of the sexual harassment claims New York Governor Cuomo issued this statement: “I now understand that my interactions may have been insensitive or too personal and that some of my comments, given my position, made others feel in ways I never intended,” he continued. “I acknowledge some of the things I have said have been misinterpreted as an unwanted flirtation. To the extent anyone felt that way, I am truly sorry about that.”
On Monday Governor Cuomo formally allowed New York Attorney General Letitia James to choose at her own will the law firm that’ll conduct the sexual misconduct probe against him.
