Former First Lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton walked the red carpet of the 2022 Met Gala in her custom gown as she attended the most exclusive night in fashion Monday evening. As part of the festivities, she flashed the "ok" sign, which many leftists have claimed is a "white power" sign."
In a now viral photo, Clinton can be seen standing on the red carpet as a masked servant tends to her custom Joseph Altuzarra gown.
The gown was created to suit this year's theme "gilded glamour, white-tie" and was inspired by women that Hillary admires from the past, like Harriet Tubman, Madeline Albright, Abigail Adams, Rosa Parks, Lady Bird Johnson, and Clinton's mother, Dorothy Rodham, according to Vogue.
After the photo began to surface across social media, commentators took aim at the 2016 Democratic Presidential nominee and explained that rules are for the people, not the elite.
"The Ruling Class thinks they are better than you," Benny Johnson said, CCO of Turning Point USA and host of Newsmax's The Benny Report.
A separate photo caught Hillary Clinton flashing the "ok" hand symbol which has been at the height of controversy over the past few years as Democrats falsely suggested is a "white power" gesture. The claims were a hoax that came from the prank website 4chan yet are still pushed by liberals as fact.
Some speculated that Clinton's return to the mega fundraiser for the first time in 20 years could signal that she might be planning to run in the 2024 Presidential Election.
"Bill Clinton just announced the Clinton Global Initiative is coming back online and that is all the confirmation we need that Hillary is running," Human Event's Daily host Jack Posobiec said Sunday.
He confirmed the speculation Monday following Clinton's Met Gala appearance and said, "Told you Hillary's running."
