Despite the White House claiming that President Biden has nothing to do with his son Hunter's allegedly nefarious business deals, one of his associates visited the place at least seven times while he was Vice President.

Francis "Fran" Person, who First Lady Jill Biden previously said was "like a son to Joe and me," appears on the White House visitor logs during the last years of the Obama administration, in 2015 and 2016. Person also directly served under Biden when he was Vice President from 2009 through 2014.

According to Fox News, Person in 2014 became president of a company called the Harves group, in which he was noted for helping the company establish "'global partnerships' in China" with the Chinese Communist Party.

Person himself denies that any business was discussed during the multiple visits, despite the history of business with the Biden family:

"Those visits were personal in nature, visiting with old colleagues and friends whom I served with during my six years working there, and completely unrelated to my work with Harves Entertainment which was creating experiences and attractions with iconic brands across the sports and entertainment industry," he said when interviewed by Fox.

Person had also travelled extensively with the now-President Biden back in 2014. In that year, they had fully 50 different countries as destinations on their itinerary, including mainland China.

Hunter's own emails themselves also strongly indicate that the elder Biden was in on his business dealings, although, in those emails, he is referred to simply as "the big guy."
