Hunter Biden was involved in former President Trump's impeachment over Ukraine in 2020 per a new report from Politico. This while the Hunter Biden was under an active IRS investigation for his foreign business dealings with Ukrainian oligarchs, and other foreign nationals.

In 2019, Trump was impeached by the House over a phone call Trump had with Ukrainian President Volodymy Zelensky in which he pressed him for information on why Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin was fired during the Obama administration.

The allegation was that then-VP Joe Biden had withheld $1 billion in loan guarantees until such time as Shokin was fired. Biden bragged about this during a televised panel. Shokin was looking into energy company Burisma, on whose board his son Hunter sat.

Trump was impeached for allegedly withholding aid to Ukraine until they supplied answers as to Biden's involvement in Shokin's firing. Essentially, Trump was impeached for doing what Biden had done, bragged about doing, and gotten away with.

Trump was acquitted by the Senate in 2020 and it has been revealed by Politico that Hunter Biden played a role in Trump's impeachment trial.

Politico reports: "In the summer of 2019, according to one of the slides, Biden got sober and started working to make amends with the IRS. But he faced an unusual complication: He was at the center of Trump's first impeachement. The slide deck cites an email one of Biden's advisers sent him on Jan 26, 2020, saying they would need several hours to go through questions and find documents as they tried to settle his tax bill."

"I have a meeting tomorrow with impeachement lawyers for the day," Politico reports Hunter Biden as saying, "It will have to wait until Tuesday I'm afraid."
