The same people who spent four years chanting "F*ck Donald Trump" all across the country are now condemning the anti-Biden "Let's Go Brandon" chant after a Southwest Airlines pilot said the phrase during a flight.
The popular "Let's Go Brandon" (LGB) chant, the family friendly version of the "F*ck Joe Biden" (FJB) trend spreading across the country, came into fruition after an NBC reporter mistook the fans shouting the FJB chant at a NASCAR race for saying "Let's Go Brandon," referring to race winner Brandon Brown.
Many of those now condemning the FJB and LGB chants were the same ones screaming "F*ck Donald Trump," even going as far as wishing violence upon the former Republican president.
In a 2018 speech given during the Tony Awards, actor Robert De Niro told the audience "F*ck Trump," and the crowd went wild.
At the 2017 Women's March, which began that year as a response to former President Donald Trump assuming office, singer Madonna told the crowd that she had thought of "blowing up the White House" now that Trump was in there.
Comedian Kathy Griffin posted a now-infamous photo to social media in 2017 of her holding a bloody, severed head that resembled Trump.
These actions and mantras were commended and praised by elites and public figures, who saw no shame in throwing the same chants they condemn now.
In response to the Southwest Airlines incident, former FBI special agent Asha Rangappa equated the LGB chant to chants pleading allegiance to the terrorist group ISIS. "As an experiment," Rangappa wrote on Twitter, "I'd love for an @SouthwestAir pilot to say 'Long Live ISIS' before taking off. My guess is that 1) the plane would be immediately grounded; 2) the pilot fired; and 3) a statement issued by the airline within a matter of hours."
Last year, Rangappa doxxed a Washington Free Beacon intern, because she didn't like the young woman's take on her unkind comments on Nikki Haley. Rangappa went so far as to share the graduate's phone number and email on Twitter.
