Following an appearance at a Cuban cafe in Miami shortly after he was arraigned on federal charges stemming from the alleged mishandling of classified documents, CNN’s Jake Tapper was seemingly triggered, telling his production crew not to show any more footage of Trump meeting with Miami residents.
"Folks in the control room, I don’t need to see any more of that. He’s trying to turn this — He’s trying to turn it into a spectacle, into a campaign ad. That’s enough of that, we’ve seen it already," said Tapper.
2024 frontrunner Trump visited Versailles Bakery in Miami shortly after he left the federal courthouse in Miami where he was arraigned on 37 counts related to classified documents found in his Mar-a-Lago residence last summer during an FBI raid.
Trump was greeted by supporters who flocked to the famed local establishment. Some of the supporters asked the former president to join them in prayer, while others sang him "happy birthday" ahead of his June 14th birthday.
Trump told the crowd, "we have a country that is in decline like never before, and we can't let it happen," and informed the establishment goers that he would be buying "food for everyone."
As he left the restaurant to head to the airport, where he will be flying to New Jersey for a speech that will be delivered later on Tuesday, shouts of, "we love you, Trump" could be heard.
