"Is America really so powerful that our Ummah (community) can't defeat it?"
Hizb ut-Tahrir, which translates to "Party of Liberation," posted about its Khalifah (Caliphate) Conference on Facebook, writing, "Is America really so powerful that our Ummah (community) can't defeat it?"
"There have been superpower states in the past too, like the Romans and the Persians; yet, they were defeated by the Ummah. Their great cities, like Constantinople, are now Muslim cities," the group continued. "What steps do we need to take to become victorious against today's Colononialist superpowers? Learn what it will take for our Ummah to overcome America, Europe, Russia, China and others from the position we're in today. If you want to help create real change in our Ummah, then get this critical knowledge by attending, inshallah."
The controversial Hizb ut-Tahrir group, which operated under Sharia Law, has a goal of creating a global Muslim world. The group has been designated a terrorist entity in the United Kingdom, Germany, Egypt, India, China, Indonesia, Russia, Turkey, Bangladesh, and several Central Asian and Arab countries.
The Facebook post was accompanied by a video that depicted scenes of a Muslim conquest.
The group did not publicly disclose the location of the conference, however, those who wish to attend the event will receive the location after registering through Eventbrite.
It has been banned in all Arab countries except Lebanon, Yemen, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as most of Central Asia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Russia, China, Turkey, Germany, and the UK.
