On Friday, podcast superstar Joe Rogan announced that he has tested negative for COVID-19, less than a week after saying that he was positive.

Rogan posted a photo of his negative test to Instagram on Friday, thanking everyone for their well wishes.

Rogan had announced on Wednesday that he tested positive for COVID-19 following a recent tour in Florida.

In an Instagram live video, he said on Saturday when he returned home he was "feeling very weary, I had a headache, and I just felt just run down."

He said that he separated from his family and slept in a different part of the house, where overnight he said that he got fevers and sweats, and "I knew what was going on."

"We immediately threw the kitchen sink at it," said Rogan following his positive COVID-19 test last Sunday.

Rogan said that he took "monoclonal antibodies, Ivermectin, Z-Pak, Prednisone, everything."

"I also got an NAD drip and a vitamin drip and I did that three days in a row. Here we are on Wednesday, and I feel great," Rogan added.

He noted that he only had one bad day on Sunday. "Sunday sucked, but Monday was better, Tuesday felt better than Monday, and today [Wednesday] I feel good. I actually feel pretty f-cking good."

Rogan’s use of Ivermectin gained widespread outcry, with outlets like MSNBC and NBC noting that the treatment is typically used on livestock animals as a dewormer.

In humans, Ivermectin is prescribed in small doses as an anti-parasitic drug in forms like a pill and lotions to treat head lice, rosacea, and intestinal roundworm.
