"No, you're not," said Dr. Peterson in reply. "And cliches won't make it so. But maybe you could be again. And you have four years to get it right.," he concluded.

Dr. Jordan Peterson called out Vice President Kamala Harris on Twitter. His Tweet was sent on January 20, the same day as inauguration and it was in response to a cliché motivational platitude on Harris' part.

"Though we may be physically separated, we, the American people are united in spirit," said Vice-President Harris. She accompanied her quote with a picture of her overlooking the National Mall in Washington DC.

"No, you're not," said Dr. Peterson in reply. "And cliches won't make it so. But maybe you could be again. And you have four years to get it right.," he concluded.

Dr. Peterson is beginning to return to the spotlight, following his tumultuous year of health challenges and near-death experiences.

He is publishing a follow up book to 12 Rules for Life. It's called Beyond Order: 12 More Rules for Life and will be available on March 2, 2021.
