Donald Trump will be going back to MSG weeks after he appeared for his previous rally at the New York City location.
According to the New York Post, Trump will be making the return to see the face-off between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic for the heavyweight championship. The President-elect is a regular attendee of the events and is close friends with UFC president and founder, Dana White.
“I’m in the tough guy business, and this man is the toughest, most resilient human being that I’ve ever met in my life,” White previously told the 2024 RNC audience about Trump. White, along with others in the UFC, endorsed the then-GOP nominee during his campaign leading up to the 2024 election.
Last time Trump was at MSG, his rally drew ire from the mainstream media, particularly surrounding a joke made by roast comedian Tony Hinchliffe where he joked that Puerto Rico was a “floating island of garbage." Some in the media compared it to a Nazi rally that took place at MSG in 1939.
