Meena Harris, the niece of Vice President Kamala Harris, is actively fundraising for "Gaza relief" on her Instagram page, which has over 712,000 followers. A link displayed on her account is for the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), which aims to address the “urgent humanitarian crisis in Gaza,” emphasizing that “the wounds of this war will take years to heal.”

Meena, who is a theater producer and actor, has used her platform to draw attention to the ongoing situation in Gaza, according to a report by the New York Post. Similarly, Harris’ stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff, has also promoted fundraising for the PCRF on her Instagram account. Emhoff additionally raised money for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), which has faced funding cuts from the Biden-Harris administration due to its involvement in Hamas’ October 7 attack on Israel.

Notably, the fundraisers promoted by both Meena and Ella do not reference the October 7 attack, in which 1,200 Israelis were killed and hundreds were taken hostage by Hamas terrorists.

Meena Harris, the 39-year-old daughter of Kamala Harris’ sister Maya Harris, has been active in political circles, including making an appearance on stage at the Democratic National Convention.  As Kamala Harris gave her nomination speech at the DNC that included a line about supporting Israel, Meena shared a photo on her Instagram story wearing a pin that read “Democrats for Palestinian Rights.”

The pin Meena was wearing was handed out at the convention by uncommitted delegates who were at the event to protest the Biden-Harris administration's support of Israel, according to NBC News.
